Lore
In Tibet, they are referred to as Yeti, in Canada they are called Sasquatch, and in the Pacific Northwest, they are known simply as Bigfoot. If you have seen one, consider yourself lucky, because these large, hairy ape-humans are extremely scarce and notoriously elusive. Experts estimate that there are only about two to six thousand Bigfoot in all of North America. Combine their small population with a nocturnal and nomadic lifestyle and you can understand why sightings of these creatures are so rare.
Bigfoot live in remote wilderness regions all over the world and the adult male stands about 8 feet tall and weighs over 600 pounds. Its body is covered with thick black hair that is longer across the shoulders, on the forearms, buttocks and calves. Its head is small in relation to the body and it has long arms that reach almost to the knees.
Although there have been plenty of sightings, numerous footprints found and even a few blurry photographs, there has never been an actural Bigfoot, alive or dead, captured to study.
